"BERRY" DUCKWORTH'S WILL
I, Anna V. Duckworth, of McCoole, Alleghany County, Maryland being of
legal age, sound and disposing mind and memory, do hereby make, publish,
and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking any and all
other wills by me, at any time, made.
First: I will and direct that all my debts, costs of adminstration, and
funeral expenses be paid by my executor, hereinafter named, and that my said
executor shall place at my grave and at the grave of my husbband, Charles E.
Duckworth, a suitable grave stone.
Second: I give, devise, and bequeath the house and lot on the corner of
West and Queen Streets in McCoole, Alleghany County, Maryland, that i
inherited from my parents to my son, Brooklyn M. Duckworth.
Third: I give and bequeath unto my husband, Charles E. Duckworth, my
home located at No. 24 Queen Streets in McCoole, Alleghany County,
Maryland, for his use during his natural life with the remainder
in fee to my son, Brooklyn M. Duckworth, and my grandson Brooke Dale Duckworth.
Fourth: I give and bequeath unto the Evangelical United Brethren Church
of Keyser, West Virginia, the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00).
Fifth: I give and bequeath unto my daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lena Duckworth,
the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00).
Sixth: I give and bequeath unto Mrs. Mae Dye, of Keyser, West Virginia,
my Whites Sawing Machine.
Seventh: I give and bequeath unto Miss Wanda Tharp, of McCoole,
Maryland, my Brass Double Bed and Springs.
Eighth: My husband, Charles E. Duckworth, is ill health and unable to
manage his business and personal affairs. Even though he should survive
me, I, nevertheless, give devise, and bequeath all the rest and remainder of my
property, whether real or personal, of whatever kind and wherever situated unto
my son, Brooklyn M. Duckworth, with full confidence that he will care and
provide for my said husband, his father, during the remainder of his life.
Ninth: I hereby nominate and appoint my said son, Brookly M. Duckworth,
as exceutor of this, my last will and testament, to serve without bond.
In Witness whereof I hereunto subscribe my name and affix my seal to this my
last will and testament, which is written without interlineation or erasure on
two (2) sheets of paper, with my signature affixed to each sheet thereof, this
30th day of July, 1949.

The above signature of the testatrix was made and the foregoing will
acknowledged by the said Anna V. Duckworth, in the presence of the undersigned,
two competent witnesses, present at the same time, and we, the said witnesses,
at therequest of the testatrix, do hereby subscribe the said will in the
presence of the testatrix and of each other the 30th day of July, 1949.
