THE LAST
WILL OF AMERICUS DUCKWORTH
IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN:
I, Americus Duckworth, of Allegany County, in the State of Maryland, being of
sound and desposing mind, memory and understanding, considering the certainty
of death and the uncertainly of the time thereof, and being desirous of
settling my worldly affairs and thereby be better prepared to leave this
world, when it shall please God to call me hence, do hereby make and publish
this my last Will and Testament, revoking all former Will by me made, in the
manner and form following, that is to say:
First, and principally, I commit my soul unto the hands of Almighty God and
my body to the Earth, to be decently buried at the discreation of my
executor, hereafter named, then after my debts and funeral charges are paid,
I devise and bequeath as follows:
I give and hereby devise and bequeath unto my dear wife Rollena G. Duckworth,
all my property, real, personal and mixed, of whatever nature and wheresoever
located.
And I do hereby appoint and constitute my brother-in-law, John Barnard, of
the Town of Westernport, Allegany County, State of Maryland, sole executor of
this my last Will and Testament.
In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 7th day of March in
the year One Thousand Nine Hundred and Six.
Signed:
