Daniel 1871-1938 married Katherine Eichorn
on May 7, 1899. They owned and operated
High Point Camp on Negro Mountain.
His sister, Mary 1876-1934 was, at this
time, engaged to John Zehner. He came
courting one evening and she smelled liquor on his breath. She broke the engagement and later married
Conrad Wisseman 1869-1963 on
August 8, 1900, during the dedication of Oak Grove Mennonite Church on Negro Mountain
