Lambert L. Thrasher

Lambert L. Thrasher, 65, of RD 4, Deer Park, died Sunday at this

home. (Pencil in – May 27, 1979)

Born April 23, 1914 in Deer Park, he was a son of J. Robert

Thrasher and Grace G. (Marley) Thrasher.

He was an employee of the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company,

Cumberland for 37 years as an engineer. He retired in May 1974.

He was a member of Deer Park United Methodist Church, Deer Park,

Volunteer Fire Department and Local 26 United Rubber Workers.

In addition to his parents, surviving are his widow, Mrs.

Pleasant C. (Reise) Thrasher; three sons, Gerald L. Thrasher,

Cumberland; William R. Thrasher, North Springfield, Va.; Ronald

R. Thrasher, Charlotte, N. C.; two sister, Mrs. Frances Comp,

Deer Park; Mrs. Margaret Reeder, Annandale, Va.; two brothers,

Harrison Thrasher and Carl Thrasher, both of Deer Park and eight

grandchildren.

Stewart Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements and services

will be conducted this afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Deer Park

United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Jackson, Rev. Joe Girstell,

and Rev. Franklin Mick officiating. Interment will follow in the

Deer Park cemetery.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of

contributions to Deer Park United Methodist Church building fund.
