Mrs. Paul Thrasher

Mrs. Frances Catherine Thrasher, 73, of 30 Pennsylvania Avenue,

died yesterday at Memorial Hospital.

Born July 22, 1900 in Piedmont, W. Va., she was a daughter of the

late Charles and Sadie M. (Riggleman) Dyche. Her husband, Paul C.

Thrasher Sr., preceded her in death.

Mrs. Thrasher was a member of the Southminster Presbyterian

Church.

Surviving are six sons, Paul L. Thrasher, Jr., Gene E. and Glenn

E. Thrasher, all of this city; Charles T. Thrasher, LaVale; E.

Elroy Thrasher, Midland; Rev. Richard Thrasher, Oldtown, two

daughters, Mrs. Naomi M. Smith, Bowman’ Addition; Mrs. F. Marion

Anderson, Dublin, Va.; one brother, Arthur R. Dyche, Keyser; 15

grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home from 2 to

4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A service will be conducted there tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. with Rev.

W. R. Keefe officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial

Park.

Pallbearers will be Douglas and Ronald Dyche, Carl Thrasher, John

and Earl Johnson and David Abernathy.
