LAURNA J. SAVAGE

Laurna Jane Savage, 83, Friendsville, died Thursday, Feb. 8,

2001, at Henry Clay Villa Nursing Home, Markleysburg, Pa.

Born Sept. 18, 1917, in Friendsville, she was a daughter of the

late Harold and Bertha (Meyers) Friend. She was also preceded in

death by her husband, Kenneth F. Savage; two sisters, Beryl Foy

and Kathryn Humberson; and one brother in infancy.

She was a cook at the Friendsville Elementary School. She was a

member of Sand Spring Church of God and the Friendsville

Homemakers Club.

Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Cramer, Confluence, Pa.;

three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four

step-grandchildren.

Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Friendsville,

where a service was conducted Sunday, Feb. 11, with the Rev.

Robert Milliren officiating. Interment was in the Blooming Rose

Cemetery, Friendsville.

Found this today on-line at The Republican web page. I think

this is the daughter of David Harold Friend, that I wrote to you

about earlier today. What a coincidence that it would show up

today.
