ETHEL H. MEYERS

Ethel H. Meyers, 87, Friendsville, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2000,

at her son's home in Addison, Pa.

Born June 7, 1913, in Hazelton, W.Va., she was a daughter of the

late Lloyd Ray and Laura Catherine (Thomas) Friend. She was also

preceded in death by her husband, Cubert Thomas Meyers, April 5,

1980; one son, Blaine Meyers; and one daughter, Verna.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Hazelton Church of the

Brethren, and attended Blooming Rose United Methodist Church.

Survivors include five sons, Dale Meyers, Addison, Paul Meyers,

Somerset, Pa., Richard Meyers, Brandon, Fla., and Jimmy Meyers

and Walter Meyers, both of Friendsville; one daughter, Helen

Lancaster, Friendsville; two sisters, Helen Groves and Avis

Evans, both of Bruceton Mills, W.Va.; 17 grandchildren; three

step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one

great-great-granddaughter.

Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Friendsville. A

service was conducted at the Blooming Rose United Methodist

Church on Wednesday, Sept. 13, with the Rev. Robert Milliren

officiating. Interment was in Webb's Chapel Cemetery, Hazelton.
