JOBIE FRIEND

Jobie Friend, 76, died suddenly on Sunday morning while seated in a chair at his home near Friendsville. He was a lifelong resident and farmer of the Friendsville community. Surviving are his widow formerly Diana Taylor, and the following children: Clarence, Allen and Bertha, of near Uniontown, Pa., and Nellie Friend, at home. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon from the Methodist church in Friendsville, with interment in Blooming Rose cemetery.
