Mrs. Leo F. Friend

Hazel Iretta Friend, 39, route 1, Oakland, (Swallow Falls) died

Wednesday, June 11, at Garrett County Memorial Hospital where she

had been a patient for one day following an extended illness.

Deceased was born at Swallow Falls January 1, 1930, a daughter of

O. Bliss Reams and Grace Elvira Cross Reams.

She was a member of the Pine Grove Church of the Brethren and the

American Legion auxiliary Post 71.

Surviving are her husband, Leo F. Friend, Rt. 1; two sisters,

Genevieve Hahn and Lois DeWitt, both of Oakland; four brothers,

Gerald Reams, Arthur Reams, LeRoy Robert Reams, all of Oakland

and Ralph Reams, of Surry, Va.

The body was taken to the Minnich Funeral home in Oakland.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
