Member of the family found the man about 400 yards from his home

in a wooded area.

A native of McHenry, he was a son of the late Amos and Mary Lewis

Friend.  His wife, Lula B. Lewis Friend, preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Rocky Drean Church of the Brethren at

Swallow Falls.

by Rev. J. C. Skipper.  Interment will be in the Bray cemetery of

Swallow Falls.

(*Obit is dated 1880-1961)

*Date of birth may be incorrect as his parents were married 1881

and obit for Dexter's brother Henry Ray Friend says that Henry

was the eldest son born 1881.
