Pat, this was in a newspaper on Feb. 19th, 1974.  I have this date written in on the side.  It could be date of death or date of newspaper.  I don't know if it was in the Grafton Senteniel or, the Morgantown Dominion Post? or even the Clarksburg paper.  Joe Friend (I think this one) came to the Friend reunion in Swanton, MD, a couple of years, late 1960's or early 1970's.

Thanks for the input on Joseph Fletcher Friend.  For some reason, I can't get started on that line right now.  I printed them out and will get to it some day (I

hope!)   I haven't even found time to get to Friendsville since July when my daughter and my neice were in.  I had a ball that week, because we all enjoy genealogy!

           Later    take care    love         Jo
