you can see the Third Rail running beside this Locomotive.

 

 

The Juniata Lumber Company established in 1908, used this Railroad from 1908 – 1913 to ship lumber to market.

The Juniata Lumber Company was located in Midlothian, Maryland. This is a “Climax Locomotive”.

 

This Locomotive was build in Mount Savage – February 1910 – and was 2-8-0 Configuration.

That means that it worked on a 36 inch Rail – 15 X 18 inch Cylinders and the weight was 56,000 pounds.

 

No. 33 was the last unit built in Mount Savage, No. 34 was never completed….
